Comfortable and modular trains
Our SFAPA tourist trains are designed to comfortably transport a large number of passengers. Each set consists of 1 to 3 carriages with back-to-back benches for optimal comfort. Complete flexibility
We adapt our trains to your needs: different color options are available (Solid White, Gold and White, Blue and White, or Far West style) and the number of carriages is adjustable (1 to 3). You can choose the train that perfectly suits your event or tourist route.
Our trains can climb slopes up to 15% and operate on various types of paths, including dirt roads and snowy routes. The fleet includes diesel, petrol, and electric vehicles, adapted to all environments and conditions.
Optimized transport
Our trains are transported using our trucks to ensure efficient delivery. For routes close to our workshops, transport is done directly by road without trucks, minimizing the carbon footprint of our operations.
Full support, passenger safety, and environmental responsibility
We guide you through all the necessary authorizations to operate on public roads: municipal, prefectural, or departmental permits. Administrative fees and timelines (approximately 2 months) are clearly communicated so that your service runs smoothly.
Experienced drivers
Since 1981, SFAPA has provided a safe and reliable passenger transport service with drivers holding a D-class license (public transport) for over 3 years, ensuring a comfortable and secure journey for all passengers.
Enhanced safety
Our trains are inspected annually by APAVE. All repairs are carried out in our workshops with durability in mind. Each carriage is equipped with required slow-moving vehicle devices and alarm buttons for passenger safety.
Eco-responsibility
Our trains are finely tuned to minimize CO2 emissions. Drivers are trained in eco-driving techniques, and transport routes are optimized to reduce carbon impact. All our vehicles can operate in Low Emission Zones (ZFE), and some of our trains use environmentally-friendly fuels such as French rapeseed biofuel.
Customizable trains for all your events
Weather protection
Our trains are equipped with tarpaulins and windows for winter or rainy conditions. You can select these options free of charge when booking to ensure passenger comfort.
With our fleet of 20 trains, we provide a free backup service: in case a train breaks down, a second train is available to continue the service without interruption.
Our trains are equipped with internal and external sound systems, including microphone, USB port, SD card reader, CD player, and sometimes an FM/LW radio, allowing music or announcements during the ride.
All our tourist trains feature advertising panels: 18 side panels, 1 rear panel on the last carriage, and 4 panels on the roofs of the carriages and locomotive. These options are available free of charge upon request when booking.
